rev:text	This place is ridiculous. I took both of my sisters there to get some procedures done last year and this year. Prior to this last event, I had an issue with them quoting one amount and then adding to the bill later. The first time, I paid it figuring it was an honest mistake. In Feb 2012, my sister had to have some procedures done. In remembering what happened before I asked them to give me an exact amount of what would be owed, being that I am on a fixed income and my sister is a full time student. They gave us an amount, assuring that was it and even put us on a payment plan for that amount. Well low and behold come April, we get a bill in the mail for an additional $400! My sister and I of course call them trying to figure out where this bill came from. We never got a solid answer and were told they would have to research it. Fast forward to December, my sister gets a call from yet another person who now works at Desert Dental (seems they can't keep staff either) threatening to take us to collections if we didn't pay them this added on amount. I call the office to inquire why this would be their next step since the last we heard they were "researching" the matter. I was greeted with the same hostility my sister was and was told we would need to pay the bill or else go to collections. I got of the phone, wrote a letter to the owner reciting everything that had happened. The reply letter pretty much ignored everything I had said and replied we needed to pay the bill or go to collections. I have now reported them to the BBB for their unethical practices and have received no calls from them or even a response to the BBB. Please save yourself and DO NOT use this place!
