  • I love Prantl's Bakery! I have heard so many things about the burnt almond torte from Prantl and even though I have to admit it was not my favourite cake because it was way to sweet, I went back and tried a couple of other things, which I loved. I also went to this particular store and ordered a birthday cake, that I took with me to work. I wasn't really sure about anything, but told them it should not be too sweet, not too much buttercream, just not too much of anything! :) The girl that took my order was pretty cool about everything. I didn't want anything written on the cake either, but she said they could just put some cream flowers on top, which I liked. So they gave me a couple of colors to choose from. I really didn't know what to expect. I paid for the cake when I ordered it in store, and all in all it came to about $39, which I thought was quite cheap. The next day when I went to pick up the cake, I was the happiest!! The cake looked absolutely amazing and it was probably the most beautiful cake for any of my birthdays! I couldn't believe my eyes and neither could my working colleagues. The cake itself tasted really good. They really did listen, and it was almost only sponge inside with a littel fudge cream. The cream on top was still a little too sweet for my taste, but my co workers loved it. All in all, I highly recommend Prantl's for their baked items, and if you want to suprise yourself or a loved one to one of their custom-made cakes, I can assure you, you won't be disappointed!
