I would give 0 stars if possible. The hours posted for this dance studio never match. Seems like they just open and close when ever they feel like despite what the hours they advertise over 8 different times I have dropped by there to try and buy pole grip for them to be closed.
As a professional pole dancer they do use x-poles in the studio but have the 55mm which is not the competitions size. They have also cheaped out and bought an silver finish instead of brass which makes pole dancing harder for grip.
For the classes I have taken there is is also a rip off they really milk you for your money spending over $200-$500 6 week levels just to learn two or three moves you can easily be taught in an hour or two based of your strength flexibility.
Lastly at taboo when I asked one of the girls if I could do a trick on there stage pole she told me to go ahead. After doing a few tricks I had another girl scream at me and tell me to get off the pole there not to be touched. She could have politely asked me to come down as there not aloud to let girls touch the pole. And the other girl made a mistake.
As the pole dancing community in Calgary is very small I have tried my best to give the studio lots chances and trys and am always let down. I rather spend the extra hour traveling to Arcadia if I want to learn something new.
