  • We decided to try Stratum because it was slightly closer to us than the laser tag place we've gone to in the past. We much preferred the other one for a couple of reasons. Even with coupons this was overpriced for what you get. I thought their website said 30 minute games. In retrospect I think it said 30 minute experiences. By "experience" they mean sitting in a room for close to 15 min with 10 minutes of instructions and 5 minutes of waiting around to then play 12 min. (Went through the same deal for game 2 and played 13 min) 20 min would at least feel like you had enough play time. 12 min is false advertising. It seems like the set-up is inefficient. If they had 2 rooms with vests you could move people in and out without the wait time. Also, it is nice to be able to pick a code name and not just be called "blue12" or whatever. It wasn't a horrible experience but not worth a return visit.
