| - My favorite dessert in the Burgh. And I've eaten a lot of dessert in the Burgh. But, we should start with the food.
Let me start by saying that I eat here way too much.
Cold mixed app is the bomb, but definitely get extra pita bread. Don't be shy. Grape leaves are awesome, too. I'm a fan of the chicken or beef/lamb kofte for a main dish. The pickled red cabbage+homemade rice+perfectly seasoned meat? Oh, yes.
For dessert, they offer rum cake, milk pudding, baklava, and rice pudding (all only $5 each, and I mean it's like heaven). All of the desserts are good, but the rice pudding. Oh...I dream about this rice pudding. I will eat at another restaurant and then come here just for rice pudding (did I mention it's BYOB?). Baklava is super sweet, definitely a good shared dessert. I mean they're all amazing. The rice pudding is where it's at, though. Try a Turkish tea or coffee with your dessert, too (definitely get it with sugar, though. And don't drink the last bit of your Turkish coffee.. trust me).
The owner typically stops by your table to personally ask you if you like the food, which is a nice touch.
They just started delivering, too. Minimum charge $15. To those of you paying attention, that's 3 orders of rice pudding. Yes.
