  • Headline: Avoid breakfast. While I was attending a conference at the Sands Conference Center, I came here twice - once for a quick lunch and once for breakfast. Let's start by saying that the food is the same as every other Grand Lux I've been to - it's good, but not spectacular, and they have options for everyone. What makes things stand out (or not) is the service. Lunch - we had good service - our waiter was very attentive. I opted for a soup and salad plate -the salad, as normal, is reasonable. The soup was a nice creamy chicken soup - overall pleasing. Breakfast the next day - seriously? A queue? ANd thats just to get sat - expect a 20 minute wait once you get sat. Service sucked the big one. However, they do have a buffet, so at least you can skip the waiting for your food as well. We went in for a quick breakfast and ended up being late to the show. Prices - good, even in comparison to non-Las Vegas places. If you are looking for cheap eats in the hotel, this is the place for you. Sorry - I can only give this an average grade - it's good but not spectacular, and breakfast service drags it down.
