  • These guys are really good at dealing with the abnormal. By that I mean helping people buy a house when they don't tick all of the standard boxes that a lender may be looking for. I am foreign and working here on a contract but Rob Ledbetter had no issues sorting me out with a loan at a great rate. The staff here are courteous and polite, and simply get the job done without trying to baffle you with US Bond graphs or, worse still, moving the goalposts just before closure with something weak like, "sorry, Ebola means that the rate we quoted you has gone up so we now want 2% more". Believe me when I say that other companies tried this on me before I met the team at First Option. Many thanks guys! Great working with you. ...and for the record Andy Welker was the loan processor and did a sterling job. No idea what the bad press on him is about.
