| - I was in town for a car show and decided to stop in based on YELP reviews. THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO POSTED A REVIEW OF THIS PLACE!!!!!
When you walk in the smell of fried chicken fills the air. You have to order at the counter and are given a number. Then you take a seat and wait.
I had a fried breast, broccoli casserole, and mashed potatoes.
Let me start with the potatoes. The potatoes were good, but the gravy on top was great. My grandfather used to say "if you poured great gravy on your head your tounge will beat your brains out to get to it." This is that kind of gravy.
Next the broccoli casserole. It is the BEST I have ever had. The broccoli is chopped really fine. The broccoli is mixed with what apears to be rice, cheese, and seasoning. I am not sure how they cook it. My best guess is with a magic wand. It is GREAT.
Last is the fried chicken breast. It was a huge piece of chicken. It had to be served at about 250 degrees. So, be careful. I knew it was hot, but it looked so good I could not help but try to eat it. The first bite was all skin and it was AMAZING. The skin is so crispy, salty, and cooked perfectly. The interior of the breast, after it cooled a little, was perfect. Juicy, moist, and paired with the crispy skin it may be the best fried chicken I have ever had.
DO NOT MISS OUT ON A GREAT MEAL!
