  • I met up here with a couple of friends of mine for lunch. The decor was very suitable for the locale. While we were here, we got to sample some brisket prepped a couple of different ways. Both were excellent and offered very distinct flavor profiles! I ordered the pork plate with mac & cheese and BBQ slaw. The slaw was very fresh and tangy. The mac and cheese was absolutely creamy and delightful. And the pork... it was most excellent! Wish I would've gotten a little bit more bark on my plate, but that's not a huge deal. We got to talk with the owner and the pitmaster. Everyone was very helpful and polite. I hope they continue the good work as they ramp up for prime time!
