rev:text	I went to Ha Long Bay last Friday for dinner. It started off awkwardly... We were standing inside the door waiting to be seated and another couple came in behind us. They were immediately helped and had their names put on a list to wait for tables. I had to say "excuse me" a couple times to get the man's attention. Maybe because I'm a female?? I have no idea. So the menu is huge as many have mentioned and everything I have tried is good. That being said I have not tried the seafood. Maybe skip the spring rolls, although they are delicious, I have had them twice and both times they were loosely wrapped and fell apart/difficult to eat. I had a Vietnamese tofu soup and my dining companion had a curry. Both were fantastic. Our waiter was strange (the guy who didn't want to take my name). But somewhere in the course of our dinner an older woman, perhaps an owner?? took over and was wonderful. She boxed up my soup - which I really appreciated. You get A LOT of soup!!
