This was my wife's and I first time sky diving and it was incredible. Yeah, there's the fear of injury or death...but you could get hit tomorrow by a car or bus driving around your home town and die so you might as well enjoy life and get an adrenaline rush sky diving.
The place is run well and by the book which is comforting. The instructors are cool and make you feel comfortable yet, are stern and make it known that you need to do exactly what they say in order to not kill yourself (and them).
The plane and gear they use seem well maintained and the facilities are clean and very well organized - all good signs when trusting someone/someplace with your life.
The views from the plane, during free fall and the parachute part are incredible - you can see Vegas, the mountains, the Colorado River and Lake Mead from 15K feet almost all the way down.
The one complaint I have is that things seemed a bit rushed at one point. The instructors landed with the first group of sky divers and then rushed over to grab us and got us into the plane as fast as possible. I understand that they're busy, but take a few extra minutes as to not appear that you're rushing (which some can interpret as possibly cutting corners). Just sayin...
