We finally got to The Palm for our monthly fancy dinner with friends. I was very excited to try this place as I had heard that it was a fun place to eat. I had also been warned about the food. It's a shame but both of the things I had heard were correct. The atmosphere and servers are great. Our waiter knew his stuff and worked with us to find the perfect meals for each couple. He was friendly, energetic, and a great salesman. We decided on the filet and lobster surf and turf. Then the food came... It just wasn't that good. Of all of our high dollar dinner nights this was the most expensive and the food was the worst. The steaks had no flavor and the lobster was overcooked. I had to ask for steak sauce to finish my steak. I look forward to a great steak when I am going to spend over $100 a person. The service is the only reason I am even giving them 2 stars so if you want to spend a ton of money on a bad meal with a talented wait staff this is your place. If you are someone who needs to spend a bunch of money for a steak go to Outback and leave your server a $100 tip. At least that way you'll enjoy your steak.
