  • I guess I am to blame for having such high expectations of this spa after reading reviews and talking about it amongst my peers. Everyone spoke so highly about it and the articles on the internet stated that it's one of the best in the city. Well. I can only say I was let down. I went in with my other half on a slowish Sunday afternoon in some cold cold Toronto weather only to find that the co-ed water therapies were a little more than disappointing. The facility had no ambience, lights too bright, decor sub par, space a bit tight. And the whirlpool tiles had this grey scum on it that I knew was a collection of human skin from the entire day... Anyways, aside from that the couple's massage was alright. The rest of the facility was also alright. Since I was there right up until closing time the young staff member in the changeroom was not so discreet about her need for me to leave so that she could end her shift that evening didn't leave me humming out the door.
