  • The absolute best flour tortillas are made with lard, and they have those here at Food City. They also have the other kind for people that think lard is bad for you. I pick up meat for my dogs here and have for about a couple years at least it seems. Produce selection is good an unique as well. Sometimes I get a miscellaneous assortment of mixed fruits and veggies for $0.99 for my hens too. ALWAYS come here for my Hatch Chiles now too because they roast them outside just like they do in NM. *deep breath* Aaaaah. Love the smell of roasting Hatch. I'll take a bushel each of the Extra Hot, Hot, and Medium, please. Tamales I get occasionally, sometimes the fish, started getting the tripas de leche recently and that seems to rank high here. Only wish the butcher could tell me exactly how this item is processed and what do they do with the leche.
