Our Calvin crossed over the Rainbow Bridge looking over his yard late on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I were devastated and didn't know what to do. Our dogs are like children to us and we wanted his remains treated properly. I started making calls and most places were either closed or closing. Finally I got the number for PALS and left a message with the answering service. Tanya called me back quickly and said she could be out in about an hour. Did I mention we live in Estrella Mountain Ranch, which is 10 miles south of the freeway and 30 miles from downtown Phoenix? She made it out as promised, and took our Calvin in to be cremated. We were going out of town the next weekend and she promised to rush the process and we brought Calvin back home on Tuesday in a beautiful cedar box. I can't recommend PALS enough, and while I am not anxious to use them again, at least I know when the time comes for our other kids we won't have to worry about what to do.
