Hubby had a training session to teach here so I came along to get away. We've stayed in other Hyatt Place hotels before and enjoyed our experience. But this time though the staff is very friendly and helpful, the room we had was very dirty. Several stains in the carpet and on the sofa. There's no reason why there should be any stains with so many DIY solutions on how to spot clean. There were stains on the sofa as well. AGAIN there are several solutions that can be created with kitchen ingredients that a sponge and water could easily resolve. The floor of the shower wasn't any better. A few paper towels along with bleach soaking for a few hours, the equivalent of cleaning a few other rooms, would remove those grout stains and make it white again. I stayed in the room while housekeeping came and not one time did she wipe down the solid surfaces. Lysol, bleach, Fabuloso, and dawn dish liquid will do wonders for cleaning and disinfecting each room after guests leave. A spot cleaner on hand will help keep those carpets cleaner longer. At $139 per night it shouldn't look like a $59 a night motel.
I gave 3 stars because Michelle the manager was a big help when I needed documents printed and the hotel wasn't listed on the site as a choice.
