  • This was my first time attending and I loved it! First of all with a Presto card admission was free and that's a nice bonus. What I really loved is that the show is packed with things to see. There's so many stalls and so much variety: local, organic and fair trade food, green cosmetics, household items, clothing, green investment opportunities, electric cars, innovations and inventions, Ontario wood: really something for everyone. I enjoyed great food as they have a restaurant area with quality chefs and local businesses. It's lovely because they give these small partions and you can really taste everything. The prices are more than fair for the quality. I really loved the soup and arancini from the Thistletown High School Chef, such enthusiastic and smiling students and teacher, Santo Pecado offering was also delicious as well as the chocolate tofu pudding from Grow Op. Oh, and of course I didn't miss Mapleton's delicious organic ice cream. That said, next year I'm tasting truly everything! I'm not much of a drinker, but there were also great organic wines and craft beers. Everybody was very nice and smiling! As said, there were so many stalls to check out, it's impossible to name them all, however I can say that most of them were also offering some great deals. I didn't check each and everyone, but those companies that I buy regularly from, had some nice savings going (Skin Essence, el Camino, the Green Beaver), so that's definitely a plus: discover new things and score deals on beloved products. For those interested in innovative products/initiatives that are better for themselves and the environment (which happens to be all around us) this definitely is a show worth visiting and whose popularity is very well deserved!
