| - As a Pitt alum, Fuel and Fuddle is by far my favorite place to eat in Pittsburgh.
1. Fuel's late-night (11pm-1am) $5 menu is unbeatable. After a long night studying or at the end of a fun weekend, Fuel is the best place to go with friends.
2. Everyone finds something addicting to order at Fuel (many people more than 1). The burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and - surprisingly - SALADS are all addicting in different ways, and the main struggle ordering is deciding between all of your favorite dishes. I always end up ordering the Skinny Dip (buffalo chicken dip), but I also love the Smashed Potato Pizza, Hog Heaven, Veg Head, nachos, and Chipotle Polka. All of the sandwiches are served with a mix of russet fries and sweet potato fries, and lots of people pay the extra $2 to get all sweet potato fries because they're amazing. To be honest, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
3. If you want to try 100+ beers/whiskeys, go to Fuel. They have "Beer Bibles" to keep track of which ones you've tried, and you make it on the wall when you get to a certain number.
The atmosphere at Fuel is dark and sometimes loud, and the servers are quick and no-nonsense. Try it out to see for yourself!
