Showed up to this Yelp Elite event on a rainy day after work. The line was long and once I got in, I checked in and was given a ticket for a sangria. I lined up for the sangria and filled in my name on the name tag at the same time.
The sangria was very good. They played some very loud music.
I checked out the 2nd floor and it was somewhat similar to the first floor so I stayed downstairs near the bar. They brought out same food samples which I tried ~3 and I thought that it was good. I didn't stay for all the food samples as I had to leave at ~8:30pm
It was a good event and one Yelp Elite member introduced herself so it was great to meet someone new who I "friended" on Yelp.
As I was leaving, I stopped by the charity table and left my donation. The lady behind the counter described the charity a bit and mentioned what Yelp schwag I was entitled to for my donation.
I said goodbye to Mariko who was still in the front of the place and mentioned that I had to leave.
Although not really my type of event, it was very nice and I'm glad to have participated and introduced to the charity and the business.
