  • I'm going to give the Delano 5 stars for two main reasons: Katie at the front desk & the wonderful nature of a non-smoking hotel. She helped me check in (early!!!) for my best friend's bachelorette weekend and was incredibly helpful. I never felt rushed with her, and she was accommodating with our requests. I got a two bedroom queen suite, which was more than enough for the girls. It was spacious, modern, and clean. Our side had an awful ugly view out the main window, but we didn't spend much time in the room regardless. One qualm was that I tried ordering a knife from room service. $1 per knife. No problem at all! Delivery fee? $4.95. Ok, fine. I'll go pick up the knife. Nope, not allowed. Super weird, and a waste of money, so I cancelled the request. Don't touch anything in the mini bar (seriously, don't take it out even if you don't plan on eating it), because you'll be charged. I requested a fridge due to health reasons, and one was brought up right away, which rocked! Overall, the stay was fantastic and I'd definitely go back. PS The lobby smells wonderful..what's the secret and how do I get a candle in that scent?! ;)
