  • I went to this location a few days earlier hoping to exchange a pair of earrings I had purchased at the Markville location. As it is near to Christmas the store was very busy and there was a lineup to get in and another lineup to cash. I thought that I was lucky that I has called to put my item on hold as this meant I could go straight to the cash line. However even this line took half an hour. I felt the service was very slow and inefficient. When I reached the front of the line I was told that my item was not put on hold. However they had more so the sales lady brought out a new pair for me to cash. At this point in time they told me that earrings are final sale. I told her that I was not told this at the Markville location. They claimed that was the law and they could not change it for me. Even though the earrings had never been worn before they would not make an exception even after they made me wait in line for half an hour! I went back to the Markville location the next day and they told me that earrings can be exchanged no problem. What a HUGE difference in customer service! I will never go back to the location at STC. The Manager at the Markville location was so nice I was able to exchange my earrings plus she helped me to pick out 2 more rings as gifts.
