  • I think my last experience here was the nail in the coffin. I go to Dolce a lot. Obviously. As mentioned in my previous review, management and customer service is a big problem here and it doesn't seem to be improving. Yesterday I went in for a service I get pretty regularly. When I go to check out the CC informs me, "oh sorry we no longer accept Hunies for this service. We changed our menu and our Hunie policy. Your service is now a la carte and you can not use your Hunie for those." Seriously? The whole reason I buy Hunies is because they are (were) UNLIMITED. Furthermore, I received no notice of this change other than being blindsided by a snotty CC upon checkout. I'm bombarded with emails about their specials, etc but they cant send an email about this? I'm already irritated from the get go because they always overcharge me when I'm checking out, so I was expecting some kind of screw up. So then the CC and I get into a heated argument over the fact that they must honor the terms of the Hunie as they were when I purchased it. Finally, exhausted and mad, I requested to speak to the manager. The CC stormed off in a huff and didn't come back for a good 10-15 mins. She finally comes back (manager wouldn't come out to speak to me) and gave me the whole, we will honor it THIS time but don't expect to use this Hunie on your next toner. By the way, toners are now $40 a la carte, not the $25-30 I have been paying. Look, I understand how business works and that companies change their policies and pricing all the time. But I feel my situation was handled in the absolute WRONG way. They should have said, just to let you know, we've changed our Hunie policy and menu pricing and it will apply to any NEW Hunies. I have a seriously bad taste in my mouth after this experience. Who is running Dolce right now? Because the lack of business acumen and customer service is driving loyal customers like myself away.
