Using the toyota body shop service, I was given an initial estimate that seemed to be undershot with new charges every few days. I was given a timeline in which the car would be completed. Every few days, I get a call that they found more issues and need to order more parts, stretching out the repairs. I am not given a new deadline. My car has been in the shop for over 3 weeks when it should have been completed in 1 week. I am without a car for about a month now. I get no updates and have to call myself and leave a voicemail with no return call. I have already received emails and telephone calls to complete surveys on service and the representative didn't realize I don't have my car back. She said she will call back later, no concern as to why she was calling for feedback when the repairs were not finished. I went with toyota because I have two cars with toyota and thought they would do a quick and quality job with good communication but I am getting nothing of the sort. Very frustrated
I wrote this post end of december, my car was dropped off midnovember.
UPDATE:
it is now mid january. today when i went to pick up my car, it is still dirty after they said 15 minutes left to finish cleaning. the advisor had papers all ready for me to pay and sign. but they created new problems in which my check engine light, ABS, and brake light is on. and they tried to say i brought it in like that. when they check their initial drop off photos, the only lights on were tire pressure and maintenance. now it is still being held so these repairs can be looked into
worst service in my life. don't care for you at all. how can repairs take OVER 2 months? there is something shady going on
