I'm a big fan of Aldi and all their stores are pretty much the same. There are a couple near me and I usually prefer this one mainly because it's easy to get in and out of. It's located on McNeilly Rd, which is mainly industrial without a lot of traffic and not a lot of signals, so you can get in and out quick.
If you haven't been to any Aldi store you would should try one out for their excellent prices on many items. There are some items I refuse to get anywhere else than Aldi simply because their prices are almost never beat by any other supermarket. The items in particular I like to get are vegetables, fruit, oatmeal and bread. Carrots for example are $1.29 (and sometimes only $.98) for a two pound bag. Giant Eagle and Shop n Save are quite a bit higher.
I don't usually like the meat at Aldi, in particular the chicken, because it comes in a broth with salt added.
The quality on everything is just as good if not better than mainline supermarkets. Their chocolate selection and cookie selection is also very good and I especially like the Moser Roth 85% cocoa chocolate bars for only $1.99.
They don't have the full line of merchandise of a larger supermarket but habt the majority of what you would need.
