  • While in Calgary on business last week, we met my customer for lunch at 500 Cucina...what a find! I always drive through Inglewood and want to stop, but am usually in a taxi and on my way elsewhere. Very modern place, lots of seating and a huge outdoor patio, and surprisingly pretty empty for lunch on a Tuesday. I had the insalata misto salad, and took the waitress' suggestion to add prawns...probably some of the best shrimp I've ever had, perfectly cooked and super fresh, they were heaven on top of my light salad, that was dressed in a sweet balsamic vinaigrette. And who doesn't love mozzarella cheese that tastes like it was made moments ago? My customer had the caprese salad with prawns, and also enjoyed. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the paninis came highly recommended, but the other two persons in my party just thought they were "good". Regardless, I'm stopping in Inglewood every time I'm in Calgary from now on! Oh, and my customer highly recommends all their pizza too!
