Such a great shop!! Lots of amazing stuff. Amazing selection of new audiophile re issues and a giant selection of "older" Japanese imports, which are are very hard to find anywhere other than on eBay or discogs. Great selection of metal, rock, prog Rock, folk, Indy, soundtracks etc and a pretty large selection of francophone stuff as well.
The back room is dedicated to 45's. There is a separate employee who sits back there and can help with questions etc. They have a great variety of stuff in general. Not a huge amount of original pressings. But lots of cool unique stuff on the walls. There are lots of box sets behind the front desk. They have a very helpful staff. I asked for an obscure copy of an album and they looked it up on their computer system and helped me dig through a crate under the main section which was very nice of them.
The atmosphere is very nice! Clean bright and very welcoming.
They don't however have a stupendous hip hop section but not every shop can have everything :-) and they don't have a public bathroom which is a bummer because if your like me you and you want to spend a good amount of time digging through the crates sometimes a toilet is nice to have available.
I did not look in depth but they had some used turntables and speakers which looked like some nice stuff.
The staff is quite large for a record shop and they were either behind the counter or actively engaged with the customers, helping people find things and I saw one staff member talking to a customer about some audio equipment.
The best thing about this shop is that they have an extensive collection of Japanese pressings in all genres. They told me they make a few trips to Japan each year to buy stuff.
The only bummer is the lack of facilities,
Got to go there once on the weekend and it was very busy and once on a weekday and it was busy but both times I could have looked for hours at all the stuff.
