even with looking this place up beforehand, I would easily have missed the entrance to Ontario Spring Water Sake Company if it weren't for their sidewalk sign set out. much tinier than expected, the 'factory' portion is visible through the glass windows and takes up about 2/3 of the storefront. there's a small fridge selling sake by the bottle and various sake products (i.e. ice cream, sake miso, etc.); a tiny shelving unit for sake glassware; and the bar that seats about 6 or 7. the tasting flight is quite nice and provides quite a range of sake, only served cold. there's also a few limited-time offer flavoured sake available.
i'm knew near nothing about sake but the lady behind the counter patiently explained the flavor profile of each sake sampled and likened each to wine types. lovely stop on weekend afternoon at the Distillery. we could easily have spent a ton of money here - so come be careful when you come and sip sip!
