I've never written a review for a department store before, but I felt compelling to write given how badly I was treated during my most recent visit.
I wanted to buy a meat thermometer, so I had to ascend all the way to the fifth floor. I couldn't find any salespeople in the kitchen area, so I quickly found someone to ask and this person immediately showed me a couple of different ones.
I noticed one brand was offering products at 25% off, so I grabbed that one and went to pay. The individual who had previously helped me had vanished, which left me with little choice but to descend all the way to the first level.
After making my way to the men's department, I found one cashier working and got in line. She rang my item up and the price didn't reflect the 25% discount. I told her about the sale and she attempted to call the fifth floor for confirmation, but of course nobody answered. She said something about waiting for a page and allowed other people ahead of me to check out. Finally, I gave up and just paid full price.
What a scam and an annoyance. This is why department stores are becoming obsolete.
