Hidden gem down the strip. It's on the strip but 15 minutes drive south of Mandalay Bay.
Pros: Courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location. Delicious breakfast at a FANTASTIC deal. (Taste similar if not better than the Grand Lux Cafe at Palazzo breakfast buffet), large junior king suites for a great rate, nice pool, complimentary shuttle for airport and Mandalay Bay
Cons: Both my room and our friend's non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke. The staff IMMEDIATELY remedied the situation by letting move to a new room.
Overall: Hilton Garden was a great location to stay for our wedding weekend. Most of our friends and family stayed mid-strip. It was a major headache trying to navigate the parking structures for those large casinos. Coming home every night to HGI was a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. It felt nice to be able to park our car without having to leave bread crumbs to find our way back to the car later. Major plus that it's located next to the Outlet Malls. Everything a bride could need was in HGI or close by in the Outlets shopping center. We even hosted a cocktail meet and greet for our two families. Everywhere else wanted to charge us a minimal of $250 to just hold a small space. But we had a quiet but fun time mingling in the front fireplace sun room. It was perfect. Francisco the manager was instrumental in helping us secure a room block for the family and friends who wanted to stay in our hotel. I never stayed that far away from the "action" but with our looming wedding bills we needed a wallet-friendly option but still classy. HGI fit that bill! We paid for our wedding and a couple rooms without busting the bank. The next time we're in Las Vegas I look forward to staying at Hilton Garden Inn.
