This is a pretty solid local breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but the food is tasty. Prices are a tad on the high side for breakfasts but the portions are HUGE. I recommend sharing a plate if possible. This place is not for the heart or health conscious! Coffee is farmer brothers brand and is nice and strong. Reminds me of coffee my grandparents would make.
I have tried the corn beef hash an eggs on two occasions and have not been disappointed. The corn beef and hash browns were both perfectly crispy. However, I didn't eat much of the biscuits and gravy as the gravy had a weird "tang" to it. It tasted like old oil or grease. I will stick with toast next time.
I will return to ottos for breakfast as it is located near my home and I try and patronize local businesses. I want to try the French toast and pancakes next!
