| - The room and the hotel was actually a great (not exactly the best) value for the price. I made the last-minute one-night hotel reservations with low expectations and from the first 10 minutes of checking-in with the front desk staff, I could not have expected a more curt and brusk front desk staff person to live up to these low expectations. I was treated like a nuisance from the get-go. She slapped my ID card onto the counter to return it back to me and she spoke to me like she explained the fine print/terms and conditions of the hotel reservation as if she was auditioning to be a fast-talking radio ad disclaimer. No hello, no goodbye, no thank you.
However, the hotel room itself was actually quite nice. The bathroom and bedroom was absolutely spotless. Immaculate even! Not a single strand of hair or lint found. The "kitchenette" was a tv stand with cut-out drawer spaces to hold the microwave, ice bucket and glasses, and a fridge. The WiFi was pretty slow but it worked. And the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The free breakfast was a small counter in front of the front desk, which includes a coffee and juice dispenser, cereal dispenser, and your choice of sandwich bread to toast. But overall, I have to say just impressed by the amount of cleanliness in the room, an area in which most guests are concerned with. The rooms seem newly renovated but the cleaning staff seem to do a very good job maintaining its condition too.
I would choose them again if they replace the front desk staff with talking robots, or if I needed a clean room to rest my head and free parking.
