Wow this place was good. I was a little uncertain originally about mixing Italian ice and soft-serve custard, but it works really well together.
The shop was busy when we got there but even with a line spanning the counter, we still ordered and received our treats within about 15 minutes or so. The shop overall is pretty cute and very clean and even with how many people were there today it wasn't very difficult to locate a seat.
I got a sand slide combination that had Nutella Italian ice and chocolate vanilla swirl custard on top with graham cracker and Oreo crumbs. The crumbs added a nice texture to the custard and the custard paired with the Nutella ice was different but incredibly delicious.
They no longer have the fish shaped cones, but now have ones shaped like a teddy bear head that are cakey and served warm. They're also deceptively heavier than you'd think that they'd be. They are made to order, so expect a couple extra minutes of wait time (still they come out pretty quick). That too was very good and super cute.
We also decided to share a tea as there is a combo where you get a sundae and a drink for $8. We picked a green tea with pineapple ice and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and had a great flavor to it. I'm not usually a fan of green tea but I'd definitely get it again.
Overall for the two of us it cost about $15 in total for the sundae, bear head cone with custard, and green tea with pineapple ice, and we felt like it was worth it. We were satisfied with the treat when we left and it's a place we're looking forward to going back to.
