  • I get it, a weather delay can cause a disruption to a flight and I'm understanding. My kids were supposed to fly out of Provo, Utah to Mesa, AZ at 8:45 pm. The airline is now saying 1:00 am they may be up in the air, yet it just keeps getting delayed more and more. Do you not have other planes that can be put in service to accommodate your customer's? This delay due to fog in LA should only impact the LA plane. Certainly you have contingency plans for this, and were well aware of the impactful weather in LA well in advance. If you don't have this contingency planning in place, then you run a very very poor customer oriented airline. I tried calling earlier, to be put on a call back list. That call back came and I was immediately hung up on, further leaving me the impression your customer is not important. I'm now on hold again trying to find out what can be done. People depend on you to get them to their destination as close to when you say you plan to. A 5 plus hour delay is not acceptable service, I'm sorry. I get your flights are less expensive. That doesn't mean your reputation should be cheap too. Pull it together and prevent this from happening. Be prepared for situations like this and treat your passengers like people who matter, whose schedules matter and are important to you. Don't just leave them hanging in terminals to wait it out or be told....you can call and "try" to reschedule, but our flights the following days are full, so your basically out of luck In this situation. Like I said, if you planned adequately, you would have put another plane into action and put your customers priority first and saved yourself embarrassment and built a better reputation for yourself. Still on hold as I type this review. After being on hold, the rep. took it upon himself to advise me that I should have contingency plans for travel if their flights don't work out. Excuse me but I booked a flight with you, paying for seats on your airplane should get me a flight or you do something to accommodate, like more customer oriented airlines do. They don't just take your money and say, oh sorry can't help you.
