This reviewer wishes there were more reviews of this company when I needed the services. This company self-promotes itself as a high quality furniture restoration business. However, in my experience the company works closely with insurance companies and moving companies to inexpensively repair damage caused by natural and/or man-made disasters. Premier Professionals, Inc. took appreciably over $10,000 worth of antique and mid-century furniture to be restored following significant damage caused by an interstate mover during the course of a interstate move. Arrangements for restoration by Premier Professionals were made by the interstate moving company. In spite of explicit requests to preserve the original integrity of the individual items of furniture, the furniture was returned to the owners with significantly greater damage than when it was removed. Finish was applied without attention to the piece and the details. In two instances, it appears that re-finishing was attempted without removing the dust, lint, prior finish etc from the original piece. This resulted in the returned furniture flaking and peeling as the poorly applied finish had no surface on which to adhere. Complaints were responded to with threats of libel suits. After my furniture was supposedly restored and/or repaired by Premier Professionals,Inc. the moving company's own inspection reported that the repairs needed to be repaired again at significant cost. The most valuable and cherished mid-century piece was rendered almost wothless by the poor quality work of this company. The reviewer posts this review with considerable trepidation as Premier Professionals threatens to sue for libel in response to complaints. I have come to truly appreciate the value of social media in providing a responsible way in which we can all help one another.
