| - I've been seeing Dr. Ginsburg since 2002. He is the best doctor I found in Las Vegas to treat my medical condition.
I found him to be a knowledgeable and dedicated neurologist, concerned about me as a patient, and genuinely interested in treating my condition and relieving my symptoms.
Dr. Ginsburg took an active teacher role with the medical students attending UNR. He often had interns accompanying him on his appointments. Dr. Ginsburg ALWAYS asked for my consent before allowing interns to observe.
I did NOT find Dr. Ginsburg to to be rude or arrogant, like some previous reviewers indicated. In fact, I thought he was very pleasant. However, I can see how his level of knowledge, coupled with his long hours, tight schedule, and busy workday, could be misinterpreted by some people.
I did experience some frustration with having to wait three months for an appointment, then being canceled at the last minute and being told there was a long wait period to re-schedule. Those issues were usually resolved by me going directly to the Office Manager and complaining about the situation.
99% of the time, long wait times to get an appointment, referral requirements, and appointment cancellations have nothing to do with the individual doctor and everything to do with the way the medical office is managed or more accurately "mismanaged."
Sadly, Dr. Ginsburg left UNSOM when the practice was taken over by UNLV.
I believe Dr. Ginsburg will be starting his own practice at the end of the summer or fall of 2017.
