I of course checked out Yelp to see what's good in the area since I've never been to Fountain Hills. I love tapas so I was thrilled to find this restaurant. The restaurant is really sweet and cozy. The hubs and I came here for lunch and it was pretty quiet. The menu changed a little from what was shown on their website. There were a couple things I was looking forward to trying and they didn't have on the new menu.
Break down on what we had and my thoughts:
Spiritual ginger soda -good and refreshing
Papas Fritas - good but I've had better
Street corn - eh
Chicken tacos - portions bigger than expected and just ok
Bruschetta-
Date Nut- unique & i liked it
PB&J- good
Cilantro jalapeno hummus- good but spicy
Avocado with bean salsa- least favorite
Overall, ambience great, service good and food was just ok. I felt the street corn and chicken tacos were lacking flavor. Maybe there are better dishes that we didn't try?
