  • This is just about the prettiest bar I have ever been to. You're sipping drinks inside of the shiny, crystally Chandelier - such a great idea! There are three levels to the bar and each level had a different cocktail menu. We decided to drink at the bar on the second level (cuz the first level didn't feel like we were inside the Chandelier anymore). For the first round, I ordered something off of the menu. It was sweet but I don't remember what it was called. But it was dark orange and just okay. For the second round, I ordered what my friend ordered, the off-the-menu Verbena cocktail. It comes with this dried flower called a szechuan button that gives your tongue all these sensations when you chew it - like a numbing sensation plus the feeling you're eating something spicy but not, and it makes your tongue salivate like crazy. And the drink part of the cocktail enhances the feeling. It's pretty cool - it's hard to describe, so you just have to order it and try it yourself. Super interesting! I wanted to try another drink from the top level of the Chandelier, but we had to leave to catch a show, so next time!
