  • Hubby and I stopped Sunday evening 8/21/16 for a quick tap. Young woman running the bar - no greeting, no smile - just "what'll you have." No welcoming vibes from her. Hubby is picky about size of his beer - wants a pint & no less so he asks her about the size that their Dubbel comes in - is it a pint? She says "Yes." He orders, it comes in a smaller glass - 12 oz. He asks again, is this a pint? She says "Approximately." Okay, so we go ahead, drink our beers, and then we can hear her relaying this snippet of a conversation at the end of the bar w/a co-worker. Loudly. Using many f-bombs. Apparently we pissed her off by asking the size question. She stopped when we looked at her, but she continued to be rude and vulgar as she waited on folks up and down the bar, utilizing the f-bomb and complaining that it had been a long day. We paid for our beers -- $13.00 for two taps, BTW -- and left. Won't be back.
