  • I've played both rooms here at Confined. Cabin Fever and Alice in Wonderland, so I'll review both and then give an overall review towards the end: Cabin Fever: Loved this room. It's got some scare factor and a little bit of gore, think PG-13. It is definitely their harder room. What I love to see is that it's not a room filled with lock boxes. There is some interaction between the two rooms (yes you start divided) - it was a slow start for our group but once we got going, we did well. We escaped this room with 6 players. Confined has some awesome props, some move, some don't, if you're looking for a really immersive wow, go play Cabin Fever. I do NOT typically play "scary" rooms, but this one I enjoyed. Alice in Wonderland 3D: First thing I thought of when we were about to play this room was, aren't escape rooms supposed to naturally be 3D? I mean it's a "live-action, real-life" escape game. When I went inside I realized why it was called Alice in Wonderland 3D. This room is pretty cool. The artwork in here is awesome - they've really got a talented team. The execution of the room is simple with a small amount of tech and cool factor is def there. However, this is where Confined lost 1 star for a five start review. Although it was fun and cool to look at, it was a little nauseating, even though we were told it wouldn't really be - tbh it was. I don't get car, sea or air sickness (I do get woozy after rollercoasters though) so I was pretty confident walking into this room. Needless to say, I couldn't stay completely immersed b/c I got a little dizzy. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Confined and would highly recommend it to anyone. Staff was friendly as most Calgary escape games are! I have played escape games at Locked Room (multiple locations), Level 1, Breakout, Escape2gether, Exssos Manway, Figure It Out, Escape Capers, and E-Exit.
