My personal favorite Chinese place in Pittsburgh. Specialized in spicy food so if you are looking into Chinese style seafood then this might not be the right place. They are very good at preserving the excellent numbness/spiciness ratio for Sichuan dishes. I once brought a friend from Hong Kong and he loved it. Now everybody in his fraternity knows about this place :P
Spicy tofu (Mapo-Doufu) is a must-get. Very soft so it can be challenging to pick up with chopsticks even for those who use them daily. But the taste... It is just perfect. And you will know what I mean if you have tried it. Lamb, fish and pork are all very good. I am not into beef but their spicy beef is also appealing to me. But before you order, make sure you are ready for the spiciness by asking for extra napkins and constant water refill.
Not a huge restaurant, but I have never had problems waiting for too long. Dishes come fast. I tried take out once, takes around 40 mins but came warm and fresh. I had it for my Chinese New Year's Eve feast.
Try it and hope you will like it!
