Not sure why we didn't try the Wicked Spoon earlier. And why did we wait so long? We've been staying at the Cosmopolitan and have never tired it until now. And it was wonderful!
Here's the highlights:
Foods--
+Wicked Chicken is awesome! Pefectly seasoned
+French Toast for brunch is just awesome. The perfect blend of cinnamon & when you add the honey butter & maple syrup, it's perfect.
+House cured pork belly is delicious!
+5-Spice Roast pork is one of the best I've had
+Apple smoked sausage was also notably delicious
+Great omelette station where you can have custom omelettes made. You can also request eggs over easy or even scrambled. Note: They don't have true scrambled eggs available at the buffet....only soft scrambled.
+Great Asian selections
+Dessert selection is pretty good...one of the best things actually. Tons of treats to choose from.
Service--
+/- Hit or miss, for this one....plates are taken away fast, slow, or very slow depending on the person assigned to your table. We've had on one occasion where dirty plates were taken away extremely quickly...and in some instances, where they were slow. Depends on the person and how busy they are.
-Some stations need to fill up on some foods (though this is being really nit picky), because I did have to wait for more french toast to be made and put out.
-Gets busy (but it's do be expected with a place like this)
+Refills for beverages you order tend to be refilled frequently, and that's a plus. You do have your own water at the table, so you can refill your glass at any time.
+Prices (for brunch) are reasonable
