| - I am a 20 year old female who, while borrowing my mom's car, got a pretty conspicuous dent in the drivers side door. Before taking the car to Earl Scheib, I took it to a different reputable shop, where the owner was rude and laughed at my questions (which might have been dumb since I don't know a lot about cars, but still...) In addition to making me feel bad, he gave me an estimate for $850 dollars. A co-worker suggested I take my car to Earl Scheib instead. Despite it being a longer drive, I took it to Gary at Early Scheib, and couldn't be happier. He made me feel very comfortable and told me stories about how his daughter dented her car, etc. He answered all my questions, and gave me an estimate for $357. That's right, less than half the price of the other place. After it was finished, it looked good as new. And, it came out under the estimate, at $352. Gary at Earl Scheib made me realize how horribly ageist and sexist the other guy was, and I am so grateful he didn't take advantage of me. Honest shop that does beautiful work-- would recommend him to anyone and will definitely return in the future if I never need to!
