| - This place wasn't our first choice for a bar, but once we got in we were quite happy with our selection.
Because it was a weeknight, there was a $10 cover and no line. Ideal. There was a DJ and two girls dancing and singing (definitely could've done without the singing though) on the bar. Typical Coyote Ugly. Drink specials were going and drinks were also made very strong. Huge plus in my book!
I was surprised/bummed at the lack of people/the high amount of old people in this bar. Maybe its because it was during the week, but my 27 year old self was by far the youngest one in there and there were some sad, sad dance moves going on. Fun to watch though! The place was very empty, but I suppose it's not a bad thing as I didn't have to fight my way to the bar or wait for my drink too long.
I was also bummed at the fact that they didn't let any of their female guests dance on the bar. Other Coyote Ugly's I've been to they've let girls do that and I know from experience that was always a highlight of my trip. When I went up to the DJ, he didn't even let me request a song, he just looked at me and put his head back down. Jerk.
Another negative thing is that the place doesn't have its own bathrooms. You have to go out of the bar, downstairs, and to the left to go. Then when you want to get back in, you need to be checked by security. This got irritating for me cause when I drink, I go, a lot, so the security guy must've checked me out 10 times in the few hours that I was there.
This place had a fun atmosphere to it. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. Drinks arrived fast and were strong. I wouldn't make it a huge staple to my trip if I went again, but if I was out looking for something to do or happened to walk by, I would for sure stop.
