  • I just came back from opening night at Harvey American. It was their first night so I tried to give them some slack, but it was just too horrible and I quickly ran out of slack. Their "garlic fries" consisted of a plate full of greasy soggy fries with a clump of ground garlic thrown on top. Had to ask the waitress for napkins, utinsels, condiments, and remind her that I ordered a beer. The place is right next to Blue 32 which ALWAYS has excellent food and service. So I was a little surprised that they'd open with such a poorly trained wait staff and such sub-par food. I may give it another shot in about 6 months to see if they got their act together...we'll see. For now though, they better go back to the drawing board.
