  • It's sad that I cannot give this place ZERO stars but this is the best I could do. I've been a member of LA Fitness since it bought out the 24 Hour Fitness in m area. I was automatically converted. I cannot speak for all of the LA Fitness gyms as I frequent the one on Scottsdale Rd most often for their Kids Club hours. Today was my first experience at the gym and brought my 2 year old and 3 year old kids because this location is closer to where I pick my daughters up for her after school activities. If you have children DO NOT SEND THEM to this location. I walked in after a great workout to find an 8-10 year old boy punching my 3 year old after he pushed her down. She slid down the slide and when the attendant approached me to let me through the gate he ran over and to her forcibly pushed her down and punched her in the arm. What is most appalling is the other children who ran up to me saying that same little boy hit all of them. So instead of removing the boy after hitting a couple of kids they let him stay. The attendant didn't know what to say and told me to inform the front desk. The Operations Manager seemed unaware that was occurring which leads me to believe there is a severe lack of communication. Just know that you may not be aware of what the other bad kids are doing to your children because NO ONE WILL SAY ANYTHING. I question the ethical behavior of the people who work in the Kids Club since there where less than 10 kids in the room at the time and the attendant seemed apprehensive about any form of discipline. It's not all LA Fitness locations just this one. Please be cautious about taking your kids here.
