  • This place is right across the street from Cloverdale Mall on the east side of the East Mall in a strip mall where there is also Scruffy's and 241 Pizza. The place is really really crammed with the furniture and it is so difficult to move in this place when it gets busy. The logistics and layout of the place is the downside of this establishment as well as their ordering system. The outdoor tables are like 4 or 5 and they are small 2 seat maybe 3 if you're lucky can fit at each table because it's basically the width of the concrete walk. They could easily be a 4 star if they were to somehow improve upon this but it seems they just have been using the same system for years. What you have to do is walk in and go to the left side of the counter where the cold drinks are in the fridge. Get a drink if you need to then move up to the counter beside all the bread if you want to order a sandwich or breakfast etc. If you're having a breakfast you may have to pick your own bagel from the baskets on the left and place it on top of the counter so they can include it on your plate you will get afterwards. You order your sandwiches from here as well... you then proceed to the right towards the cash and pay there. If you ordered coffee, they will give you an empty take out cup or mug and you have to get the coffee yourself just to the right of the cash. This system is very difficult when it is busy and you're holding other things like drinks or other food items you picked up that aren't made in the back. At this point if you ordered food to be made you will get a number and now you're free to sit where ever you can find space or if you got somebody to take a seat and save a table is probably your best bet. Now I've only been here maybe 6 times or so but I was really turned off on a time I went to visit years ago. I had ordered breakfast and the place was about half packed. The person bringing out the food was basically going around the entire restaurant looking for my number and showing my food to every patron she had asked if they were the number I had. First of all this was extremely inefficient and secondly I didn't want almost every other patron hovering over the food I was about to eat as they got a good look. They need to do something to fix this system or at least improve it and make it better. The place is so small inside but can get really packed and too hard to move when it's full considering you have to walk along the counter to select food and pay and get your coffee and wait for your food while it makes it way throughout the establishment and eventually to your table. The food is good and decently priced. The breakfast for instance is like 10 bucks but you get 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, the bagel you selected and coffee included. The real only issue I have is the way you have to scramble for a table and the way the servers don't know where you are until they eventually find you.
