  • Very much enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Green Tree! In town for Family Weekend at U Pitt. This hotel was immaculate, quiet, friendly staff, free parking, a short drive to campus & a reasonable price. Much better than the prices of downtown, especially when you consider some hotels downtown charge up to $25/night for parking alone. We were here over a weekend and traffic was not an issue to get into Oakland, Downtown or anywhere else in the city for that matter. There is a restaurant in the lobby, which I did not try, but it was nice to have that amenity. Rooms were clean and well-kept. Nice sized bathrooms. Also, it was great to have a Keurig in every room and free wi-fi. Only thing I would improve in the Double Rooms is to include a refrigerator and microwave - they only offer these in the King Rooms. Other than that, this hotel was perfect for our needs. Will definitely stay again. Pro tip: Ask for a room in the back half of the property for a super quiet stay.
