| - Unparalleled interior eye-candy. The entire hotel is a spectacle to behold. From the Picasso room on, it's a feast for the eyes!
"Exclusive", small hotel feel. It's got that same quaint and cozy feel that makes one feel like they've stumbled onto something special.
When I arrived after my busy journey from LA, I immediately wanted to eat. The valet guy Ryan offered me an alternative since I was expecting a hotel with a cafe included. He suggested the BBQ place down the street; that was awesome.
He took care of my car, and when I finally got to check in, that's when I encountered Heather and her massive attitude.
I had a slight mixup between funds in my business account and personal, and that feeling of specialness I had when I walked in---the awe inducing thrill of the beautiful art and furnishings....
Well....she kinda made it all disappear. I felt as if one of the budget hotels was suddenly missing their desk clerk.
Maybe it was due to the fact that I had driven directly from the UK Consulate that evening and had become accustomed to graceful, dignified service, but this is where the experience fell apart for me.
Once I got to the room, it was beautiful and cozily appointed, but I had to call the concierge desk to ask how to stop the message light from blinking.
Again, more attitude. Sorry. That just doesn't work for me.
This is called the "hospitality" industry, not the "you're really putting me our right now" industry.
Maybe Ryan the valet guy can give some tips on how to treat guests once they walk through the front door.
Will come back soon, though! Great hotel!!
