  • So I've been to this bar before and I've always had an "ok" time. I only go when I have friends from out of town. Last night was a freaking mess! I had a buddy from TX in town and I wanted to show him a good time so I decided QUADZ would be a good place to drink a few beers and play some pool. Well I was completely wrong, we go to the and we waited about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us or even Acknowledged we were even there and there were 3 men behind the bar. Long story short, a Tall guy comes over and takes our order, I order a bud light for my buddy and a Stella for myself. The bartender didn't ask us if we wanted draft or bottle (my buddy only like beer out of a bottle) so he gave my buddy his bud light on draft and quickly walked away without saying a word or asking for payment, mind you I never received my beer. When he returned, I kindly asked him can my get his beer in a bottle because he don't like drinking beer from the tap? The bartender got really rude and told me I should've asked for his bud light in a bottle and that he can't waste beer (really dude? Where is your customer Service!) I informed the bartender that he didn't ask us if we wanted draft or bottle either.... His response was very nasty and made us feel very uncomfortable! He told us it's not his problem and that we needed to pay for another beer if we wanted it in a bottle. So after this unnecessary and unprofessional interaction I looked at my buddy in disbelieve of the kind of treatment we were getting and I said LET GO!!! I'm not going to make this a race issue but I do wonder if we weren't black men would we have gotten the same treatment. I refuse to spend my money somewhere where I'm not being respected and treated fairly. My request to have my buddies beer and a bottle a simple request. We walked out feeling so hurt and uneasy about what just happened to us and the bartender still wasted the beer because we never drink it all paid for it! I will NEVER bring any of my out of town guest to QUADZ. So after leaving there I still wanted to show my buddy a good time and have some drinks so I took him to The Garage and we had a blast! The music was great and the Bartender Danny was freaking amazing. He greeted us even though he as busy with another customer, and he came right over and got us what we wanted without an Attitude and made us feel welcome. I ended up spending about $60 there on drinks and thanked Danny for his service. We even went by Fun Hog Ranch and had a beer and was treated nicely by the guy behind the bar, I didn't get his name but in the future I'll just take my guest to the Garage for now on and spend my money where I feel welcomed! Poor customer service at QUADZ SMH
