I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our morning coffee. We had never been to Mechanic Coffee before but we had purchased the Pittsburgh Coffee Passport and it was on there and so we decided to head over. It's located on railroad street in Verona right near, you guessed it, the railroad with two tables outside. It's cute inside with some bar seating as well as a few tables. There's definitely a feminine touch to the place as there are some flowers on the tables and the colors give it that feel. Lastly there were also some great looking pastries and cakes on the counter that are for sale. For coffee on this morning I decided to go with a latte while my wife went with a cappuccino. My first sip of the latte was a little bitter but it soon smoothed out. After that first sip I really enjoyed it as it was a nicely made latte. My wife enjoyed her cappuccino as well and we both enjoyed sitting outside with the relative peacefulness of railroad street.
The bottom line for me is that I would come back here again in the future. My coffee was good and I enjoyed hanging out here.
